Cohesive Ramblings

Ask me anything   Submit   23. Current SoCal resident. BA in Culture and Media. Video Editor. Recovering cynic. Feminist. Composter. Supposedly, an adult but I think it's debatable.

There’s a reason why I prefer being a video/film editor. It’s so I dont have 6 am call times. Don’t get me wrong, doing production work is fun. Hell, I got to visit the set of show Vegas to film an interview yesterday, but having to leave my house 445 in the morning to do it. Not fun. Post-production is where it’s at.

I know, I’m being whiney. I do love my job. I’m just tired. I’m doing more filming all weekend, and won’t have a day off until next weekend. That’s almost two weeks without a day off. I figure I’ve earned one rant.

/end complaining. I have a job. I’m lucky. Shouldn’t complain.

Started watching this show last week and finished the first season in a couple days. Completely and utterly addicting. It’s actually the first network show I’ve watched since Lost. I’ve sort of become a cable tv snob, I guess.
The show is definitely dramatic and over the top most of the time. Every character is so dark and manipulative, you won’t get enough.  With twists and turns every episode, the show is good fun and well-acted. I’ve never been a huge fan of Emily VanCamp, despite watching Everwood ten years ago and seeing episodes here and there of Brothers and Sisters, but she is absolutely fantastic and badass. Definitely check it out.
